Watch: Radford clinches first tourney bid since '09 on buzzer beater

Welcome to the ɬ﷬ַ tournament field, Radford.

The Highlanders are heading to the Big Dance for the first time since 2009 after winning the Big South conference tournament. And it took a dramatic shot at the buzzer to punch the ticket.

With Sunday afternoon's title game between second-seeded Radford and fifth-seeded Liberty tied at 52-52 in the waning seconds of regulation, Carlik Jones delivered the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer over an outstretched Liberty defender's hand. Watch the shot below:

Jones finished with a team-high 13 points in 39 minutes and was named tournament MVP after the game. That last-second dagger was his only 3 of the day (1-for-3 from deep). Three other Highlanders reached double figures in the 55-52 win.

With the win, Radford clinches a trip to its third-ever ɬ﷬ַ tournament. Its last appearance in 2009 ended with a first round loss to North Carolina.
